There are lots of designer bags on the market for men from handbags to backpacks. Contents in men bags may vary depending on the occasion because accessories are personal. Some people can never drive a car without a dustbin while it will not be an issue to someone else. This article looks at ‘must –carry’ items.
1. Wallet
Wallets no longer carry paper money only. Forget about old school wallets which were overloaded with papers so they appear big in pockets. Today's wallets can carry family photos ,ATM cards, identity cards, and sim cards. These items call for specialized care since they can break. A bag comes in handy. It may be safer to keep your wallet in a bag since it can slide out of your pocket.

We are increasingly living in a very infectious world. Handshakes with everyone, public facility usage and scarcity of water requires any health conscious man to carry liquid sanitizers or anti-bacterial tissue just in case.
3. Raincoat
These are a must have to prepare for the uncertain climate change. Rain may claim your expensive phone. There are also raincoats designed to cover your laptop bags. Get a raincoat for your body and bag. These raincoats can be folded to a size of your fist.
4. Pocket tissue
This is also for uncertainities.Gone are the days when you had to wipe hands with your hair after eating. Not everyone will clean seats in taxi or meeting area for you. You can never be sure of a steady supply of napkins at a local restaurant or a party.
5. Identification Documents
Increasing security threats worldwide have called for drastic measures. Some buildings will not be accessed without valid identification documents. It is advisable to carry your ID card, Driving License and even Passport everywhere you go. Obviously these should be photocopies. There is mob justice and accidents everywhere today. Most financial transactions require some form of identification.
6. Water bottle
This is also a fashion and health statement.
7. Electronic gadgets.
Men are known to live gadgets. So a camera, tab, charger, power bank,calculator, flash disk, and headphones can pass.
8. Sunglasses
At least this is a must have accessory for any gentleman.
9. Shoe brush
Walking attracts dust which is shameful and need to fight it. Generally dry weather will get dust on your shoes. If you do not want to spend on shoe cleaners then carry your own brush
10. Keys.
Men want to move round swinging keys. There can be keys for the car, house, and TV stand unit. Keys are a sign of authority.
11. Pens, business cards, and Receipts
Most men are financially conscious since they are caretakers. Men love to keep track of things that make him suffer financially..
12. Gum
These are taken to arrest bad breathe and hunger. Some men credit gum for their three pack on their jaw.
13.Cash
Men always keep cash on them for impulse purchases. Emergencies can also come up. Let us face it, an ATM s are not available or always off due to power.
You can never find strange things in a man's bag. At least men bags do not have go-downs like those for ladies to carry pets. A man carrying Perfume, lotion, lip balm, and Deodorants in his bag is weird unless it was a visit to Gym or swimming pool.
