Kyadondo Rugby Club benefits from 30m AAR medical sponsorship.



On 29th, January, 2013, AAR Uganda signed a sponsorship deal with Kyadondo Rugby Club. This sponsorship deal will see AAR provide professional health services to Kyadondo Rugby Club. This will greatly improve on the injury risk management and reduce the high medical costs the club has been paying annually.

Andrew Owor, the chairman of Kyadondo Rugby grounds, acknowledged the assistance from AAR and said that it would benefit the game in a big way. Toyota Buffaloes and MTN Heathens are the clubs to gain more from the signed deal since Kyadondo is their home-ground.

Rugby is a sport that has developed tremendously in the country having the National team represent the country in a number of International engagements not to forget the famous Elgon cup. However, there are a number of injuries involved with the game.AAR has since set up a recovery booth for injured players at Kyadondo.

The partnership will see AAR offer First Aid services to the rugby players participating at the Kyadondo Rugby Club. There will be a standby AAR ambulance equipped with life support equipment that meets International standards.
